ABOUT BUSINESS IMMIGRATION

Your Gateway to Global Business Opportunities

A business visa lets entrepreneurs, investors and executives travel or relocate for legitimate commercial activity: meetings, market research, setting up a subsidiary, running an overseas company or making a qualifying investment. Short-term and long-term routes work very differently, so choosing the right one matters.

As a business visa consultant in India, Manzil Immigration reviews your profile, funds and goals, then recommends realistic options across Canada, the USA, the UK, Germany and more, and supports you through filing.

  • ✓ No local job offer needed for entrepreneur or investor routes
  • ✓ Short-term and multiple-entry visitor options
  • ✓ Some long-term routes lead to permanent residency
CATEGORIES

Routes We Specialise In

Choose the right category for your profile and goals

Start-up & Founder Visas

For innovative founders launching a scalable company, such as the Canada Start-up Visa or the UK Innovator Founder route. A viable plan and, in some programmes, endorsement are required.

Investor Visas

For applicants making a qualifying financial investment, such as the USA EB-5 programme. Funds, source-of-wealth proof and programme rules need careful review.

Self-Employed & Freelancer

For professionals who can show a viable income and economic benefit, for example the self-employment residence permit in Germany. No large investment is required.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about investor and entrepreneur routes? We've got answers.

What is the difference between a business visa and a work visa?

A short-term business visa is for activities like meetings, conferences and exploring investments. It does not let you work for a local employer. A work visa allows employment with a company in the destination country.

Can I bring my family?

It depends on the route. Short-term business visitor visas usually do not include dependants, so family members apply separately (for example as visitors). Longer-term investor, founder and start-up routes often allow a spouse and children, sometimes with work or study rights. See our family visa page.

How long does processing take?

It varies widely. Short-term business visitor visas can take from a few days to several weeks. Investor and start-up programmes take many months and sometimes years, particularly for Canada and the USA. Contact our team for current timelines.

Do I need a job offer?

No. Entrepreneur, self-employed and investor routes are designed for people who build or fund a business, so a local job offer is not required. Business visitors usually need an invitation letter from the host company instead.

Can this route lead to permanent residency?

Some long-term programmes can. Examples include the Canada Start-up Visa (subject to current intake), the UK Innovator Founder route with settlement after qualifying years, and the USA EB-5 green card. A short-term business visitor visa does not lead to PR. See our PR pathways page.

Are all investor and entrepreneur programmes still open?

No. Programmes change often. For example, Australia's Business Innovation and Investment stream closed to new applicants in 2024, and Canada's Start-up Visa has seen intake changes. We check the current status of every programme before advising you, so you never apply to a closed route.
